The landscape is peculiar, made up of coral debris (dead coral pieces), dotted with small pinnacles of hard and soft coral. Aquatic life includes eagle rays, marble rays, bamboo sharks, white tip and black tip reef sharks, unicorn fish, hawksbill turtle and, if you’re lucky, the wunderpus or blue-ringed octopus.

The Cauldron "Shotgun"
The Cauldron "Shotgun"
This place will leave a lasting impression on you. On the way into and through the Cauldron, you can see white tip and black tip sharks, manta rays, snappers, sweet lips and giant trevallys. Leaving the Cauldron requires taking the Shotgun which acts as a concentrated siphon; compressing the current, gaining a lot of strength and speed. Following the shotgun, the dive ends in an incredible shallow reef called “China Shop.”
Castle Rock
Castle Rock
Komodo North at its finest. Here you’ll find schools of fusiliers, bat fish, barracudas, napoleons, jack fish, mackerels, as well as white tip and gray sharks. Soft and hard coral give shelter to crocodile fish, scorpion fish and pygmy seahorses.
Crystal Rock
Crystal Rock
Just 400 meters from Castle Rock, the shallow end of Crystal Rock gently breaks the surface. Here, the topography is different and visibility can be spectacular. Get the chance to see eagle rays, tunas, reef sharks, schools of anthias and eastern sweet lips.

Police Corner

Drift along a beautiful reef before dropping into a fish-filled overhang. There is usually a nice surprise of schooling jacks or cruising sharks before ending the dive by drifting along the reef again.
Tatawa Besar
Tatawa Besar
One of the more varied drift dives in Komodo Center. The coral is healthy and abundant, plus there is a chance of seeing sharks or even dolphins in the blue. Mantas are often seen in this area as well.
Sebayur Kecil
Sebayur Kecil
This all-levels dive site is the perfect way to start out your dive day. Hidden in the nooks and crannies of the reef are octopuses, the occasional electric clam, and even several species of frog fish.

Explore one of Komodo’s only muck diving sites where you can find many small and strange creatures. At first glance, the sloping, sandy wall may appear to be lifeless, but upon examination, the sea floor comes to life.
